Trust & transparency
Editorial policy and medical disclaimer
This policy explains how we create patient education and medical travel content, where its limits are, and how readers can request a correction.
Purpose of our content
Our articles help patients prepare for conversations with qualified clinicians and understand the practical steps involved in seeking treatment in India. They are educational resources, not individual diagnoses, prescriptions, or substitutes for an examination by a licensed medical professional.
How information is prepared
Our patient coordination team combines established clinical guidance, hospital and government information, and recurring questions from international patients. We distinguish general medical information from logistical guidance and avoid presenting indicative costs or timelines as guarantees.
Clinical and financial claims
Treatment eligibility, outcomes, length of stay, recovery, and price depend on diagnosis, medical history, treating team, hospital, implants or medicines, room category, complications, and currency movements. Patients should request a written clinical opinion and itemized estimate from the treating hospital before making travel or financial commitments.
Sources and updates
Where practical, articles should rely on current guidance from public health authorities, professional medical bodies, peer-reviewed research, and official hospital or government sources. Time-sensitive information such as visa rules, prices, and hospital services should be reconfirmed with the issuing authority. Material changes are incorporated when identified.
Independence and transparency
MediHeal International is a medical travel facilitator, not a hospital. We may coordinate care with partner hospitals, but a treating clinician remains responsible for medical advice and treatment decisions. Hospital selection should be based on the patient’s clinical needs, specialist experience, accreditation, facilities, location, and a written care plan.
Corrections
We correct substantive errors promptly. If you identify information that is inaccurate, outdated, or unclear, please send the page link and supporting detail to medihealinternational@gmail.com.
